Special Letter from the Admo"r Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Danziger of Alexander

Interesting letter handwritten and signed by the sacred Admo"r Rabbi Yitzchak Menachem Danziger of Alexander, who was among the major rabbinic leaders of pre-Holocaust European Jewry. Sent to Alexander Chassidim in Jerusalem. Alexander, 1928.

In his letter, the Admo"r writes about sending  tzedakah funds, with a specific sum dedicated to "My son, the sacred tzaddik of Lelov ztzllh"h ..."

Later on in the letter, the Admo"r pleads with them to pray for his younger brother, Rabbi Avraham Chaim, who was sick with a lung disease: "I hereby request that you arouse much mercy from the source of mercy for my honorable brother who is dear to me and beloved to me as my own soul, Rabbi Avraham Chaim ben Sarah Rivkah ... to recover completely and quickly, among all the ill of the Jewish people ... May Hashem have mercy on him and send him sacred help in the merit of his holy ancestors ... and in the merit of his dear, pleasant children ..." At the end of the letter, the Admo"r requests that his name be mentioned in prayer at sacred sites - the Western Wall, Rachel's tomb and other tzaddikim's grave sites.
