Kitzur HaShulchan HeAruch - Handwritten Glosses, Including the Original Leaves of Pictures

Sefer Kitzur HaShulchan HeAruch by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Breslauer. Amsterdam-Tel Aviv, 1936. The author's original copy, with important and fascinating glosses in his hand - that were not printed. Additional glosses handwritten by members of his family. Another of the author's copies of this book is included.

New, precise publication of the popular halachic work Kitzur Shulchan Aruch by Rabbi Shlomo Gantzfried. It is appropriate to note that this edition uses a different title than the other editions.

There is a group of leaves inside the sefer about its printing: a pair of leaves with pictures that present different ways of laying tefillin. Instructions for the printer are in the margins of the leaves, and these pictures do indeed appear in the printed book. Also appearing: Two pictures of mezuzahs drawn by hand (also appearing in the printed book per this manuscript); advertising leaf for this book (several copies), and other handwritten and printed leaves related to the sefer and its editing.

[2] volumes + approximately [20] leaves and partial leaves (some double). Various sizes.

Overall moderate condition. Aging stains, tears and wear in the margins of many leaves. The books are detached from the bindings.
