Shu"t Yealat Chein by Rabbi Aryeh Leib [Tzintz]. Prague, 1793. First edition.
[2], 64 leaves. 34.5 cm. The first work of the Maharal of Tzintz who authored many works. The author wrote this book when he was 25 years old, the title page and approbations emphasize that he was very young. Enthusiastic approbation from Rabbi Yechezekel Landau, the Noda B'Yehuda, Rabbi Mordechai Bennet and others – all expounding on the author's genius.
The flyleaf has owner notations and signatures of Rabbi Shimon Sofer, Rabbi of Sendra [Szentendre], son of Rabbi Eliezer Zussman Sofer of Paks [we've included information about this personality] and other owner signatures.
Old binding. Minimal aging stains. Very fine condition.
