Kedushat Yom Tov. Novellae by Rabbi Yom Tov Algazi [Mahari"t Algazi]. Bak press, Jerusalem, [1843]. First edition. One of the first books printed in Jerusalem. Inscribed by Rabbi Shalom Moshe Chai [Smach] Gagin.
[2], 92 leaves. 29.5 cm. The book was published by Rishon L'tzion Rabbi Avraham Chaim Gagin. The title page is inscribed by Rabbi Shalom Moshe Chai Gagin [Rabbi Smach Gagin], son of the publisher Rabbi Avraham Chaim Gagin, a Jerusalem sage [1833-1883]. He was a Rosh Yeshiva of the Beit E-l Kabalist Yeshiva and author of "Shu"t Yismach Lev", "Smach Nefesh", "Smach Libi", and more. The book was presented to Rabbi Meir Auerbach, the inscription is slightly cropped.
