Pentateuch with the five megillot. The translation is printed on facing columns, the book was printed from left to right. This edition is the "Jewish" version, printed for Christian scholars who wanted to study the Jewish understanding of the Bible. "Ma'alat Moshe", about the attributes of Moses, is printed at the conclusion. Large printer's device, of Giustiniani press, across the entire page before the end.
CCVIII, [209] -376, [2] leaves, 20 cm. Blank flyleaf at conclusion.
Antiquated, original leather binding with gold embossed title and flowers on the spine. Light blemishes to the binding that have been professionally restored. The original title page has been supplied from another copy. Minimal aging stains. Very fine condition. Vinograd, Venice 419.
