Sharp Polemic Letter by Chaba"d Rabbis Opposing Rabbi Aharon Kotler
Letter from Chaba"d rabbis to the people of Jerusalem opposing the gaon Rabbi Aharon Kotler and Rabbi Avraham Kalmanowitz when they arrived in Jerusalem. C. 1950s.
In this letter, the Chaba"d rabbis sharply attack Rabbi Kotler due to his disrespect for the Admo"r of Chaba"d and the Chassidic approach. Signed on the letter (in print) are Rabbis Shmuel Levitin, Rabbi Shmuel Zalmanov, and Rabbi Dovber Cheshkind, all close associates of the Chaba"d Rebbe.
