Western Wall Jewelry Box. Copper and Silver Damascus Work. Bezalel? Early 20th Century
Large impressive copper box. The box's lid features elegant silverwork of the Western Wall surrounded by Damascus style decorations and a Hebrew inscription: "HaKotel HaMa'aravi."
The body of the box features pictures of lions, deer, the menorah, the Decalogue and stars of David.
The lid has a closure and the inner part of the box is lined in blue cloth.
16x25x36 cm.
Indisputably impressive Jewish box. Fine condition. Minimal signs of corrosion.
