Beitrage zur geschichte der judischen gemeinde zu berlin. Six booklets about the history of the Jewish community of Berlin. By Moritz Stern. 1926-1934. From the author's bequest.
The pagination does not follow through the series, about 200 pages altogether, 22 cm. German.
Stern was the president of the Jewish library and museum in Berlin. The fourth booklet has a Hebrew copy of the community's statutes from 1768 through 1778. 18 pages of statutes in Hebrew. Signed by the community rabbis and trustees. This lot includes all published booklets.
Two booklets related to the history of Berlin Jewry are included at the conclusion. One: 1910, 6 pages. Two: 1919, 15 pages. Both were written by the Moritz Stern.
Nice cloth binding. Excellent condition.
