Letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Sher - Rosh Yeshiva of Slobodka

Letter dated Shevat, 1935. [11] lines written and signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Sher. The letter is addresssed to "My friend, HaRav HaGaon M"hrra".." It discusses Rabbi Dinova's acquiesence to fulfill the request regarding their joint affair.
Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Sher [1875-1952] was a mussar giant, rosh yeshiva of Slobodka in Lithuania and then Eretz Yisrael. In his youth, he studied by Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz and then in the Volozhin yeshiva. When he visited Slutsk, he met Rabbi Nosson Zvi Finkel for the first time and quickly became his disciple. A few years later, he became Rosh Yeshiva of Slobodka. After immigrating to Eretz Yisrael, he served as Rosh Yeshiva in Bnei Brak until his death in 1952.
