The signature of Rabbi Yisrael Dov Odesser graces the top of leaf 14.
Rabbi Yisrael Dov (Ber) Odesser [1886-1996], the "Saba" was born in Safed to a family of Karlin chassidim. He was a disciple of Rabbi Yisrael Karduner and other senior Breslov rabbis. At the end of his life, he became famed for the mysterious letter about the note with the words "Na Nach...", and he is known as the "Baal HaPetek" by his followers.
