A long poem with 26 verses in honor of the marriage of the honorable Rabbi Yitzhak, the son of the honorable Rabbi Shabbatai of Irini and his bride Judita, the daughter of the honorable Rabbi Menachem of Italy, by Rabbi Yeshayah Bassan. Mantua, circa [1725].

The ga'on Rabbi Yeshayah Bassan (Born inVerona, 1673 - Died in Regio, 1739), was one of the leading halachic authorities in Italy, a poet and a mekubal, a disciple of Rabbi Yehudah Briel and הרמ"ז, the son-in-law of הרב"ך, and the mentor par excellence of Rabbi Moshe Chaim Luzzato. The Ramchal learnt the art of song and poetry from him. In honor of his teacher he dedicated his first book about this art, 'Lashon Limudim', to him. (Mantua, 1727).
Slight tears on the white margins. Stains due to age. Moderate-good condition. Extremely rare.
