Beit Aharon V'Hosafot - index in the order of the Torah for Talmud and midrashei Chaza"l and other books, by Rabbi Avraham David Lowat, av beit din of Nikolaev. Vilna, 1880. First edition.
The leaf following the title page bears an approbation from the Admo"r the Mahara"sh of Lubavitch, followed by the stamp and signature of the author, the Lubavitcher Rebbe's great-great-grandfather: "Signed Avraham David Lowat, mo"tz of Nikolaev.
Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the pious gaon Rabbi Avraham David Lowat.
This copy was found in the estate of the rosh yeshivah of Etz Chaim, the gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michel Tukachinsky, and the flyleaf bears a handwritten inscription by him: "From Rabbi Y. B. Horowitz, z"l - his heirs gifted it to me."
