'Sefer Yechezkel' of the Leading Mashgiach of Recent Generations, "Rabbi Chatzkel" Levenstein

Mikra'ot Gedolot, Sefer Yechezkel. Pietrkov, 1889. In the leaf before the title page and on the last leaf there are three owner's stamps: "Yechezkel Levenstein, Mashgiach Ruchani, Yeshivat Mir."

This is the book of the prophet Yechezkel, including prophecy and mussar and the foundations of Kabbalistic wisdom (Yechezkel's visions). The leading mashgiach of recent generations studied from this book and drew inspiration for the famous mussar discourses he delivered in the halls of the largest and most famous yeshivahs in the [Lithuanian-yeshivish] world before and after the Holocaust - where Reb Chatzkel served as spiritual dean.

Refer to the Hebrew catalog text for a brief biography of the gaon and tzaddik Rabbi Yechezkel Levenstein.
