Siddur Sha'ar HaShamayim [Shla"h]. Amsterdam, 1742. Segulah Book
"He had a great desire for this siddur ... and a covenant was made by him that if one performs according to this service, before shome'a tefillah, intending with all his might, his prayers will not go unfulfilled. (The Shl'a"h's promise regarding the segulah of this siddur)
Sha'ar HaShamayim - beautiful commentary on the siddur authored by Rabbi Yeshayah HaLevi Horowitz, author of Shnei Luchot HaBrit, per the Ashkenazic custom. Amsterdam, 1742. Rabbinic signatures from the period of printing.
Siddur according to the custom in Germany, including: Prayers for weekdays and festivals, zulat, hymns, selichot and the Passover haggadah, a commentary by the Shla"h and Kabbalistic intentions. There are also many customs and mussar concepts from the Shla"h and more supplements as written by the author of Shla"h in his last will and testament. This is the second edition of the important Kabbalistic siddur authored by the Shla"h.
This edition was first printed in a small format (the first edition was printed in a large format), such that this edition is also called Siddur HaShla"h HaKattan - Mahadurah Rishonah. On leaf 28 [of the first pagination] there is a picture of a menorah with Psalm 68, Mizmor LaMenatzeach.
The Shla"h wrote in his will to his children (printed at the beginning of the siddur): "I decided to write this sacred work so that it would be printed and spread among the entire Jewish people, so that I would have the privilege of having a part in all the prayers of the Jewish people."
Prayers from this siddur have a special segulah (and promise) that the prayer will be received and not go unfulfilled! As the author of Ba"ch wrote in his approbation to this siddur (printed in the first edition) "There is no doubt that this will spread among the Jewish people; the prayers of one who prays from this siddur shall be fulfilled." Rabbi Naftali Katz, author of Semichat Chachamim, writes in his approbation: "Prayer services for Shabbats, festivals, and the high holidays, from the beginning of the year until its end, arranged and written by the gaon Rabbi Yeshayah Segal, author of Shnei Luchot HaBrit, who very much desired this siddur, and decreed that his progeny publish it, to bring merit to the many who pray these services with these intentions, and a covenant was made by him that if one performs according to this service, before shome'a tefillah, intending with all his might, his prayers will not go unfulfilled. " This segulah is attributed to the author, none other than the author of Shnei Luchot HaBrit.
