A Letter from the Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson of Lubavitch, After the Death of his Father-In-Law and Before His Appointment as Rebbe
A letter from the Rebbe Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch, in the period between his father-in-law's death and his appointment as Rebbe, mentions the topic of "hitkashrut". 1950.

The Rebbe signed his name and added a word in his handwriting in the addressee's title. The Rebbe Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak of Lubavitch died on January 21, 1951 and this letter was written on February 28 of the same year. In this period the Rebbe refused to accept the leadership. In the letter before us the Rebbe responds to someone who requested a blessing from him and wrote that he prayed for him on that day at his father-in-law's grave, and also replied to him regarding what he wrote to him regarding the connection to the Rebbe.
