Urim V'Tumin. Two Volumes. Vienna, 1819

Urim V'Tumim - renowned work by Rabbi Yehonatan Eybeschütz on Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat. Two parts. With the Shulchan Aruch text at the center of the leaf, the Urim on one side, and the Tumim on the other side.

Urim V'Tumim (in yeshivah jargon: "The Tumim") is a fundamental work on Shulchan Aruch, Choshen Mishpat. The book is synonymous with genius. The author of Ketzot HaChoshen writes in the preface to his work: "After the book Urim V'Tumim was published, I saw that the gaon, the author, wrote magnificently, so I reviewed my compilations and everything I found in them that appeared in his book, I rewrote. In my study, I peeked between the crevices and I saw matters that were related to the main principle of the law that my heart saw differently. And in all matters such as these I saw fit to mention his argument, and my argument, and the reader will make his decision.
