Unique Features: Signatures of Rabbi Azriel Pollack on the endpaper and on the title page. Several glosses and comments are among the book's leaves, including two long scholarly comments, which begin: yesh lidchok v'letaretz, yesh lidchok leyshev.
Background: Rabbi Azriel Pollack of Eisenstadt was born in 1803. In his youth he served the Chatam Sofer. He was famous for his scholarship, and also served as cantor of the Eisenstadt congregation for 45 years. He passed away in 1887.
