In the letter, there are many instructions for the worker publishing his book to act seriously, without being distracted from the holy work, by fasting, prayer, ritual immersion, charity, receiving blessings from genuine Torah scholars, reciting the entire book of Tehillim on Shabbat, going to the graves of his holy fathers and more, "because this is not just any book ... this is for the public good for the service of G-d ... and if he should put effort into His service with all of his heart and soul ... and know to where these words are reaching, and pray and beg ... that G-d desires that he succeed ... and we should acheive this in the merit of the holy forefathers." He also asks to purchase the books of Rabbi Yehuda Ashlag who "seems to be a wonderful linguist with a wondrous style, " and asks for details about him.
