She'elot U'Teshuvot Heishiv R' Eliezer V'Si"ach HaSadeh, with Damesek Eliezer by Rabbi Eliezer Lipshutz of Ostrovsky. Neuwied, 1749. Owner's signature on the title page by the great eagle, the wondrous and G-dly Kabbalist, the gaon Rabbi Nathan Adler of Frankfurt, the Chatam Sofer's primary teacher.
Lengthy owner's signature at the top of the title page - 12 words in the hand of Rabbi Nathan Adler: "Belongs to the Torani, Rabbi Nathan Adler, son of the departed Rabbi Shimon Adler Katz zlh"h" ["שייך להתורני והרבני כהר"ר נתן בהמנוח כמה"ו שמעון אדלר כ"ץ זלה"ה"] As is known, this was the text Rabbi Nathan Adler would use to sign his books (refer to the enclosed authorization).
