Yeriot Shlomo. Author's Dedication and the Dayan of Pupa's Signature
Yeriot Shlomo - halachic novellae on the halachahs of Yoreh Deah, Part I, and 'Kuntress Beit Yad' on Yoreh Deah. Bound together with separate title pages; by Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ulman, Av Beit Din of Makova. Vienna, 1854. Copy that belonged to the famous tzaddik Rabbi Moshe Yosef Hoffman, 'The Dayan of Pupa.' With dedication (to another rabbi) from the author, the gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ulman.
At the top of the title page, there is a dedication to "the famous maggid ... the complete sage, the honorable Rabbi Eliezer Schwartzenberg." The leaf preceding the title page bears a lengthy owner's inscription by the dayan of Pupa: "I bought this book from Rabbi Yitzchak B"B, the youth Moshe Yosef ..."
