'Me'ah Brachot.' Illustrated manuscript from the 18th century. Miniature facsimile. London, 1994.
Me'ah Brachot. An illustrated manuscript from the 18th century which includes illustrations and writing in Yiddish, alongside daily blessings and special blessings such as the blessings of a woman, mikveh and hazakat dam. Unique facsimile, limited edition, London, 1994.
A lot of effort was put into to make this facsimile true to the original, beginning with the Vellum and ending with the Moroccan leather cover and buckles, clasps, corner-plates and bosses handmade of 925 silver.
Copy number 36 from a limited edition of 550 copies (the plates were destroyed following printing).
The facsimile is accompanied by a booklet with explanations and translations of each miniature plate, printed on artistic pages ( Fabriano Ingres) and a cover of fine-grain goatskin which matches the unique display case. Size of the facsimile is 40x36 mm. The booklet is 110 pages, 3.5 cm. New condition.
