Includes the Shabbat afternoon prayers with 'karbanot'. Bukhara, like all other republics in the Soviet Union, suffered from a lack of prayer books. This was a creative solution: The pages of a prayer book were photographed, the film developed, and the photos were bound together as a book. Authentic memento from Jewish life in the Communist regime.
Original, characteristic cardboard binding, with a vowelized Hebrew title: סדר מנחה של שבת.
