Plate from Jewish Hospital "Jüdisches Krankenhaus" 20s
Original period plate with "Jüdisches Krankenhaus" written on it. This plate was used in the Jewish hospitals of Kattowitz or Breslau. Jewish Hospitals around Europe were not uncommon, but most of them disappeared during the Nazi regime. One existing in Berlin is an example of the few that survived. This plate is made from porcelain, of the known manufacturer "Giesche", and condition is excellent.
