הספר היה שייך לרבי יעקב מאיר פדובה אב"ד בריסק.
רבי יעקב מאיר פאדווא - (תקנ"ז - תרט"ו) 12 בדצמבר 1854) היה אב"ד בריסק במשך 15 שנה. חיבר את הספרים, מקור חיים, שו"ת מהרי"ם, ועוד.
כיתובי בעלות ישנים, חותם בשער.
