Rabbi Chanoch Dov Zilberfarb (1978-1938), the son of Rabbi Meshulam Zalman Yosef, was born and raised in his grandfather's home in Kojdenow. Later he moved to Toprov where his father was appointed rabbi. As his father, he was also close to the Belz Hasidism. In the year 5549 he was appointed Admor in the city of Butushan, Romania, in place of his father-in-law Rabbi Mordechai Yosef Moshe of Sulitza. He was known as a public figure. During the Holocaust, he worked for the refugees from Poland who came to Romania.
