Rabbi Chaim Pinto: He is the rabbi of the cities of Ashdod and Kiryat Malachi, and the president of the "Shova Israel" institutions founded by his son, Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto.
Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto (1515-1648) was one of the greatest sages of Syria in the 17th century, one of the greatest Torah scholars of the generation of the Maharu, a silver chosen author who abolished idolatry from the world.
