חיבורו החשוב של בעל ה'תורה תמימה. בספר תולדות משפחתו - משפחת אפשטיין, זכרונותיו על ישיבת וולוז'ין ועל העומד בראשה, דודו הנצי"ב, ואישים נוספים בתקופתו, וכן הגיגים וחידושים בגמרא.
חלק ראשון שמונה פרקים, וחלק שני שבעה פרקים.
הגאון רבי ברוך הלוי אפשטיין [תר”כ- תש”ב] היה בנו של הגאון רבי יחיאל מיכל אפשטיין רבה של נובהרדוק ובעל ערוך השלחן. בגיל 13, החל ללמוד בישיבת וולוז’ין במשך 5 שנים בהן התפרסם כעילוי. קיבל סמיכה מדודו הנצי”ב, מהבית הלוי, ומרבי רפאל שפירא. היה מחבר רב פעלים וכתב ספרים חשובים רבים, הנודע והחשוב שבהם הוא 'תורה תמימה'.
