בשער: הספר הלז מצאו חכם וגאון אחד מספרד, ונתעורר ויגע עצמו להביאו לבית הדפוס זה שנים רבות. אמנם כמעט כולם נשארו במדינות שפרד... וזה אשר עתה נדפס ממנו בא לידינו בזעת אף ויגיעת נפש...
מהדורה נאה של אחד מספרי היסוד על מסכת בבא בתרא.
חתימה וחותמות: ישראל יהושע שלזינגר, לאדז תרמ"ב. חתימות בעלים נוספות, והקדשה עצמית ארוכה בכתב עתיק בעמוד האחרון: נחום בן מוהר"ר שמשון כץ (?). [בהמשך (ה)ק' זעקיל].
מצב; טוב. מעט נקבי עש. הכריכה נפרדה מהספר. ספירת דפים משובשת, דפים מנותקים.
