הגאון הקדוש רבי שאול בראך (תרכ"ה - ת"ש) מגדולי פוסקי הונגריה ואב"ד במאגנדורף, קרולי וקאשוי. נודע כקנאי תקיף ולוחם מלחמת ה' ביד רמה, היה מהמתנגדים החריפים לציונות ולציונים. היה מקורב לאדמו"רים לבית סיגעט ובאבוב. חיבר ספרים רבים ביניהם, - גבעת שאול, שאול בחיר ה' ועוד.
