Historic papers dropped by plane at the height of the riots of 1929, from the High Commissioner of the British Mandate in Palestine - Jerusalem, [1929]

Printed manifest from John Chancellor, High Commissioner in Palestine, regarding the murderous rampage of Palestinian Arabs during the riots of 1929.
In this manifest, Chancellor, the senior administrative figure in Palestine, sharply attacks the Arabs for the slaughter and notes that they will be severely punished.

"I was appalled by the cruel acts…the wild acts that attacked people from the defenseless Jewish community…cruel abuse that can't even be expressed verbally…"

However, in his next manifest, the High Commissioner toned down his anti-Arab reaction and also blames the Jews for the violence.

This manifest was dropped by British army aircrafts over cities in Palestine. (HaTur newspaper, 1st of Elul 1929, p. 20).
