Vishnitz. Tzemach Tzaddik of Rav Menachem Mendel of Vishnitz – two sections, Czernowitz-Lemberg [1885-1892]
Elucidations on the Chamisha Chumshei Torah according to remez and chassidut by Rav Menachem Mendel of Vishnitz, founder of the Vishnitz dynasty.
Important, fundamental work of Vishnitz Torah by the first Admor of the chassidut. The first section was printed soon after his death, with the introduction of his son, Rav Baruch of Kossov.
Section one: Bereishit-Shemot.
Czernowitz [1885] – First edition.
[2] 80 leaves.
Section two: Vayikra-Bamidbar-Devarim.
Lemberg [1892]. Rare edition. Identical to the first edition. Only section two was printed in this edition and, apparently, many copies were bound with other sections of the first edition.
59 leaves.
An additional section on the Yomim Tovim was printed in the first edition, it is not included here.
Two sections bound together. Fine condition.
