A catalogue of the works of Berlewi (1894-1967), a Polish-French artist and designer; especially remembered for his work as a designer of Yiddish book covers in the early twentieth century. With black-and-white reproductions, and a color cover. On the first page: dedication and signature of Barlewi, dated 1964, Berlin. Numbered copy 453/1000. German, 28X21 cm. The cover has tears and stains; the pages are in good condition with rust spots. In addition to the catalog, a letter in Polish addressed to the poet and publisher Gabriel Talfir in Tel Aviv is attached. The letter is dated 1966, and signed by Berlewi. The letter is 3 pages long, typed on a typewriter and attached with a pin. Good condition with light wear.
