The book was published on the occasion of an exhibition held to mark the 75th anniversary of the founding of Bezalel, and the 50th anniversary of the death of its founder, Boris Schatz. The book deals with the various periods of the institution: the establishment, the years of prosperity, the crises of World War II and the years of decline. With hundreds of images including historical photographs and a selection of the works of the institution's students.
