Dozens of wonderful portrait photographs from the fifties and sixties, by the English photographer John Deakin. Deakin is best known for belonging to the circle of the painter Francis Bacon, and the book includes both photographed portraits of Bacon, and of the people Bacon painted (in some cases - alongside color reproductions of the paintings). Also includes portraits of Lucian Freud, Picasso, Dylan Thomas and many more.
