Four Photo Albums of Travels To Palestine and the Middle East - The 1940s
A lot of albums documenting journeys to Palestine and other palces. In the photos you can see landscapes, many sites, local residents, streets, beaches, interior of important buildings and more. Some of the photos were taken on the way, from planes and ships. Next to each page there is a detailed and neat explanatory page typed on a typewriter. Beautiful and one-off photos, most of them in very good condition. The lot includes the following albums:
1. Italy, Greece and Israel - Rome, Pompeii, Naples, Athens, Haifa, Safed, Acre, Metula, Rosh Pina, Kfar Nahum, Tiberias, Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva.
2. The Land of Israel - Jaffa, Tel Aviv, Givat Brenner, Ben Shemen, Jerusalem, the Dead Sea.
3. Egypt - Cantra, Gaza, Cairo, Memphis, Skara, Nile, Alexandria.
