Letters that the author sent from Jerusalem to his father and brothers in Italy about "the account of his journey from his city to the Holy Land, everything he saw and everything they found on his way". Obadiah of Bertinoro
, one of Italy's sages, was born around 1440 and probably died in 1515. He was the rabbi of the city of Jerusalem and the leader of the Jewish community at the end of the Mamluk period. Known for his interpretation of the Mishnah, as well as its re-establishment of the Society Kadisha.
Hebrew, 26 p., 21X15 cm. The original booklet is given in a makeshift paper cover. Good condition, some stains.
