A rare guide of the Ballet Russe issued in honor of the season in London in the thirties before the war. The booklet has an original silver cover with a pasted color illustration, and includes: portraits of male and female ballet dancers, plates with stunning color illustrations of costumes and stage designs. The season includes the Swan Lake, Scheherazade, the Fire Bird and many other ballets. Designs by Picasso, Jean Hugo, Gontcharova and more. Also includes illustrated advertisements. A beautiful collector's item.
French, 36x26 cm. The booklet itself is in good general condition, the cover is in fair condition with tears, mainly in the spine.
