Tzlalim - literary collection of students of Gymnasia Herzliya, World War I
Tzlalim/literary collection/in memory of Simha Rapaport, published by the seventh grade of the Hebrew Gymnasium in Jaffa, 1916.
This rare and intriguing collection was edited by Yaacov Levy, who later became an Israeli writer and educator. In 1916, during World War I, Simha Rapaport drowned in the sea, and his classmate, Yaacov, decided to edit a literary collection in his memory. Encouraged by Y.H. Brenner, his teacher from the Gymnasium, a collection of ten literary works was published in the memory of Simha. Good-fair condition (some pen markings inside) 96 pages
