Judaica - a large and very impressive antique vessel for spices, "besamim container", Turkey' Greece or Italy 19th century, with flowers in the shape of a Star of David.
A rare vessel for perfumes from the Balkans or Italy, handmade from low silver or plated brass.
The vessel has a significant presence, about 25 cm tall and a weight of about 400 grams. The spice container casedt with handwork with antique and delicate engravings on the body.
In the upper part, vine leaves and leaves in the shape of Star of David are cut and engraved, this craft is delicate and beautiful handwork (need polishing).
The vessel came from a family that used it for " HAVDALA " ceremony and still has the ancient perfume plants inside the container.
The container is good condition with minor flaws & damage.
