Judaica - antique and extremely rare " SHADAI " talisman amulet, an American, apparently, from the frontier area metal or silver with enamel - 19th century.
An extremely rare amulet, in the form of a sheriff's badge from the USA on which it is written " SHADAI " and instead of the famous star the tag with 6 corners, a Star of David.
A rare item because it is known that Jews settled in the Wild West in the 19th century and some of America's pioneers were Jewish families and communities that tried to merge and intigrate in the new place and culture.
The curios amulet , interesting and authentic, was purchased in the US from an estate and the description was that it was "sheriff tag with Hebrew letters"......
The amazing amulet is made of metal or silver, not tested, it is not really significant.
Good condition with defects for enamel.
Its size is about 8.5 cm.
