Judaica - large antique silver Torah pointer for a Torah scroll, Austro Hungary circa 1880.
A large and massive antique silver hand made Torah pointer, made by a skillful silversmith in Vienna during the 19th century..
The length of the silver pointer is approx. 25 cm and probably was made in Vienna.
The pointer came with immigrants from Europe after the holocaust. It was donated to a Tel Aviv synagogue and given back to the family when the synagogue closed down sometime during the 60's. The Torah pointer was purchased from the family by a collector who died several years ago.
The pointer is of the highest quality and we are proud to offer this on behalf of the collector family.
