Judaica - Continental silver Torah shield for the Torah scroll, a magnificent hand-made silver shield from the 19th century, probably German.
Antique and impressive Torah shield made entirely by hand by a high-quality silversmith, massive German scroll from the middle of the 19th century circa 1850/70, engraved, cut and hammered by hand.
The name "Chaim angle"" is engraved on the shield in an original script that corresponds to the Hebrew font of the 19th century in Central & Eastern Europe.
The silver shield weighs about 370 grams and is about 22 cm high.
