Sefer 'Ohel David' by the Holy Gaon Rabbi David Deutch, with many editing and more innovations hand written by the author that has never been printed. Vienna 1825.

Sefer Ohel David [on Tractate Yevamot] by the Holy Gaon Rabbi David (b"r Mendel) Deutch from Nové Mesto (New Town, neighborhood of Prague). Anton Strauss publisher, Vienna 1825.

In this sefer there are innovations that have not been printed by publisher of Vienna 1822. Printed on the last page are some innovations on Tractate Yuma and Kidushin.

At the end of this copy there is an additional page with innovations, hand written by the author in which are short innovations on Tractate Chulin, Rosh Hashana, Yuma, and Shevuot. Inside the manuscript the author relates to his sefer 'Ohel David' on Tractate Shevuot and writes: "ובחיבורי הקשיתי..." - "In my sefer I questioned…." The contents of these innovations was printed in his seforim, but with many dialect changes. 

HaGaon Rabbi David Deutch (1755 – 1831) from the great Rabbanim of Hungary who was renowned in the world as holy and revered. He served as a Rav of Jemnice, Rav of Frauenkirchen (Hungary), Rav of Serdehely (Dunaszerdahely), and from 1810 till his passing in Nové Mesto nad Váhom (a new city). Was revered by Moron the Chasam Sofer who expressed on him his great admiration. Once the Chasam Sofer saw him sleeping on the floor and from great anguish he commanded fasting for this. He was a disciple of the Mahara"m Berabi, and mostly a close disciple of the Noda BeYehuda, who wrote to him dozens of answers which is brought in his famous sefer. His innovations were published in his sefer "Ohel David" (1819-1867) and other sefarim.

Aging stains, light wear and tear on the edges of the pages without damage to the text, few moth holes on the cover page. Good condition.
