Unique copy with stamp and hand written signature of Rabbi Chaim Arye Leibish HaLevi Ish Horovitz with hand written notations inside the sefer.
Sefer 'Mekor Chaim' on Hilchot Pesach. [On Shilcon Aruch Orach Chaim chapter 429-467] by the famous Gaon Rabbi Yaakov of Lisa, with his editing on the Ta"z and on Magen Avraham , with annotations of Halachot on tractate Kereitut by the father of the author.
The cover page of this copy lists in hand writing (could be by Rabbi Arye Leibish Horovitz), in which is written that this sefer was printed in Zolkiew (זאלקווא, today called Zhovkva), 1882. This edition is unique and is not found in the international library.
79 pages, 20cm. bluish paper.
Rabbi Arye Leibish HaLevi Ish Horovitz (12TH day of Kislev,1851-1904), son of Rabbi Shaul HaLevi ab"d Tysmenytsya and student of his grandfather Rabbi Meshulem Yesacher HaLevi ab"d Stanislov author of sefer "Bar Livay". Served as ab"d Zhovka from the year 1881, and as a Dayan in Krakow in the year 1885, and became Rav and ab"d of Krakow from 1900. Author of sefer "Chayai Arye" including shu"t, annotations on Halachot and commentaries on Sha"s.
Wear and tear, decomposed and disconnected cover, cover page and first page [hand written] detached, stained, fair -good condition.
