Two letters from the Admo"r Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Kretchnif Siget [Kiryat Ata]:


In the first letter the Rabbi discusses about the required conducts in his Beit Hakneset and Beit HaMedrash written with his holy handwriting.

אברכים שרוצים וחפצים בלי שום נגיעות שיהי' להם מקום להתפלל מעט יותר באריכות ולא לדבר ח"ו באמצע התפילות וקריה"ת ולפני התפילה לא לדבר פוליטיק וכן אחר התפילה וזה יהי' כחק ולא יעבור בבוקר ובערב ובשב"ק ואני אכתוב כאן ג"כ איזהו נוסח לעשות על שטענציל לשלוח לכל אנ"ש שיש להם שייכות עמי...

In the second letter on the width of a small paper, the Rabbi writes in short several lines about the ways of Avodat Hashem and conflict with the evil inclination, rectification of sins and approaching towards more holiness.
Following are his words: 
לפי הנראה כל פעם שאתה כמעט מתקרב להקדושה בא הנסיונות בוודאי מצד החטאים שהי' ח"ו. לכן ראה מה שלפניך כי מי יודע סוף כל סוף ידידי אני מעורר אותך ולטענות ומענות אין לי כח ומוח....

About the small crowd praying in his Beit HaMedrash, the Rabbi writes:
 'ורגילים אנו בזה כי אתם המעט מכל העמים והכל מן השמים מד' מצעדי גבר כוננו'...

Admo"r Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch Rosenbaum of Kretchnif-Siget [1920-2006]. From the famous righteous in Jerusalem, admired by many.
Born to his father Rabbi Nissan Chaim of Brodshin, son of Rabbi Eliezer Zev of Kretchnif. From his childhood he was known as a gifted child and at the age of 9 he was sent to be raised at the courtyard of his grandfather in Sighet there he learned with him until his Bar Mitzvah. After his Bar Mitzva he traveled to learn in Yeshiva of Stanislov there he was called with admiration 'The Oved'.
He went through the Holocaust in Auschwitz concentration camp, and had his share of torture. After the Holocaust he immigrated to Israel, there he was from the chosen students of Moron Mhari"tz Dushinski. Still as a youth he started conducting 'Tish'. After his wedding to the daughter of the Admo"r Rabbi Chaim Mordechei of Nadvorna, he was sent by the admo"r Rabbi Aharon of Belz to Kiryat Ata, there he establish a neighborhood in the name of 'Shikun Sighet' with a Yeshiva and Talmud Torah. From there he established and developed the Chassidut of Kretchnif-Siget in Israel and abroad.
In the year 1982 he moved to Jerusalem, and established his Beit Medresh on Avinoam Yelin Street.
He was famous for his Avodah (holy works) especialy on Shabbat when he prayed with much fervor and conducted lengthy 'Tishen' in which he ignited his Chassidim with the holiness of Shabbat.
Though he was a zealous he accepted and honored all Jews and his courtyard attracted many follower who where not Chassidei Kretchnif.
His famous students (besides his sons the Admo"rim): the Admo"r of Nikolsburg Rabbi Yechiel Michael Leibovitz, Rabbi Yitzchok Meir Morgenstern the Rav of Toraht Chacham, Rabbi Gamliel Robinovitz Rosh Yeshivat Shar HaShamayim. Rabbi Yesacher Ber Leifer the Admo"r of Bishtina, Rabbi Avraham Moshe Frankel of Antwerp.
