Ruling And Action Regarding A Rabbinical Post From Rabbi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin
Carrying out a verdict in a local Rabbinate case, handwritten by the Gaon and Posek Rabbi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin, from the greatest sages of the US and one of the heads of the charity organization “Ezras Torah”. Undated

In the short verdict, written on the back of his business card, Rabbi Henkin writes and affirms that he received $1500, which were deposited by him for escrow. If Rabbi Reuven Epstein will be retained for the Rabbi’s position in the Great Synagogue of Coney Island, this money will be handed to the Rebbetzin Sarah Lea Blech and compensation. Were he not to be appointed, the money will be returned to him.

In addition, it is ruled that Rabbi Epstein will not enter this position unless the Rebbetzin Blech agrees to it.

The short verdict is signed by Rabbi Henkin.

The Gaon Rabi Yosef Eliyahu Henkin (1881–1973), from the leading Rabbis in the USA, and one of the pillars of Ruling there. Served as Rabbi in various lands and places, and in each place stood out with his capability to rule decisively and in the genious of his rulings. Stood at the helm of the “Ezras Torah” organization for nearly 50 years, during which he distributed countless millions of Dollars to charity, in immeasurable scope.
