Letter Regarding Charity From Maran Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund

Letter regarding charity, sent by the holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund, with his holy blessings, in his handwriting and signature. 1981.

The typed letter was sent to the management of the “Ezras Torah” organization in Jerusalem, on behalf of a groom, from the finest students in the Yeshivos in Jerusalem. Sent on an official letterhead of Yeshiva Yetav Lev of Satmar, to which he added a few lines and signed it.

I hereby also affirm all that is written above, and have therefore affixed my signature to this, for the sake of the great Mitzvah, and may the doers of this Mitzvah have peace and all good Selah, as per the wishes of their soul and the soul of he who awaits the salvation of Hashem speedily in our time Amen -- the small, Moshe Aryeh Freund.

The holy Master of the Land of Israel, Rabbi Moshe Aryeh Freund (1904–1996), Gaon, Av Beis Din of Yerushalayim and the Eidah Chareidis, head of the Satmar Yeshiva in Jerusalem, grandson of the Av Beis Din of Honiad. Exalted Chassid and ascetic, a miracle worker who helped many with his prayers and blessings. Survived the tribulations of the holocaust with faith and greatness of spirit. The Tzaddikim of the generation spoke greatly of his merits.
