Manuscript Of Chiddushim Heard From The Geonim Rabbi Meshulam Igra, Av Beis Din Of Pressburg And Rabbi David Deutsch Of Neitra
Manuscript (14 pages), a pamphlet of Chiddushim on various topics – with Chiddushim that the writer heard from the Geonim Rabbi Meshulam Igra Av Beis Din of Pressburg and Rabbi David Deutsch, author of ‘Ohel David’ – Nitra, between the years 1794–1802 – Never printed.
On one of the pages (pg. 4) the writer notes: “and the Gaon, our teacher Meshulam, Av Beis Din of P"B [=Pressburg] (i.e. the Gaon Rabbi Meshulam Igra, who served as Rabbi of Pressburg from ca. 1794 until his passing in 1802).
In this pamphlet the writer quotes several times from the innovations of the Gaon Rabbi David Deutsch, author of ‘Ohel David’ (1756–1831).
ON one page (pg. 9) he writes: “Thanks to G-D, on the issue of Shlil, which I innovated here in Nitra.”
