Postcard handwritten by Maran the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Ovadya Yosef, from his days in Petach Tikvah, 1957. 

The postcard was sent to the Gaon, member of the Chief Rabbinate, Rabbi Katriel Fischel Tchorz, asking him to publish an article about the new book of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef in the HaTzofeh newspaper, referring to the book Yabi'a Omer section II. The postcard indicates how much Maran the Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef had to beg for acknowledgment and attention from the readers of the haTzofeh newspaper and members of the HaMizrachi, who were all Ashkenazim. 

Later in the letter, HaRav Ovadya shares his intention to publish the third section of Yabi'a Omer, although he has no funds to do so. 

The Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef ends the letter with the words ידידו עוז, חבר בית הדין בפתח תקוה and his signature.
