With stamps of the Beis Midrash of the Chassidim of Rabbi Shimchon Yaakov of Kosov in Safed, with an illustration of the gravesite of Rashbi and his son and with ownership notations of the above Beis Midrash.
The background of the establishment of Kollel Kosov of Safed: the holy Rav Rabbi Chaim author of Toras Chaim of Kosov headed the Estreich Kolllel of Eretz Yisroel and supported the Avrechim who immigrated from Galicia and Hungary. After his passing in 1854, he was succeeded by his son the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Shimshon of Kosov and his son the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Mendel the Tzemach Tzedek of Vizhnitz. The Kollel was divided and the holy Rav Rabbi Yaakov Shimshon headed the Kosov Kollel.
No binding. Incomplete copy - without the [5] last leaves. The last leaf of this copy is detached. Tears, blemishes and taping to some leaves. Fair condition.
